MISSION
The Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center memorializes the history of our nation’s highest military award for valor, from the first medals in 1863 to the present, and educates the next generation of Americans about the six character traits associated with the gallantry of Medal recipients.

VISION
The Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center aspires to become a national leader in educating Americans about the heroic deeds and noble character of those who have received our nation’s highest military award for valor – the Medal of Honor.

The values of the Heritage Center are the six character traits embodied by the Medal of Honor and its recipients:

Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center - Come visit and learn about the heritage of the Medal of Honor and the meaning behind it. Our immersive, interactive exhibits will immerse you into the amazing stories of Medal of Honor recipients, starting with the First Recipients in 1863 to the present day.

We use location awareness to improve your tour experience while in our facility. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
